Mighty Market 2011
Ah the mighty market, so mighty yet so markety. Mighty in the sense that people were so focused on the band and keg that they failed to noticed when all the chips suddenly disappeared from the food table (what?)...or the man in the security guard costume out front (real cop?). Markety in the sense that I realize I'm slightly like the cap seller in the book "Caps For Sale." You know, the one where the peddler walks around shouting "CAPS FOR SALE CAPS FOR SALE, FIFTY CENTS A CAP..." and all the blimey monkeys steal his precious loot? Accept I'm not shouting "caps for sale" I'm shouting, "BEST MIX CD OF YOUR LIFE" and selling 1990's morphed plastic high heeled earrings (not to mention their faded color).

I Dream of Jean-ie
Yesterday I became the proud owner of a bright red pair of jeans. With a little help from a friend (a-thank you Shola) I transformed those large child sized jeans from Value Village in Vancouver, to a sassy new pair of Portland Trail Blazer spectator pants... Yes, "Spectator Pants!"A dream come true if you ask me (and I'm sure you are asking me aloud right about now). Blazers, I did this for you, now do one thing for me... beat the Lakers would you? Thanks.

Steep Street
I would like to take this opportunity to introduce you to Steep Street. Everyone, Steep Street, Steep Street everyone. Now that we know eachother, everyone is comfortable with everyone else (talking about eachother's crushes and what not) a little more about Steep Street, photography exdrodanaire...your new favorite eye candy. All that finger crossing, and clover toting must have paid off, because we have the opportunity to work with the most talented photographer ever (responsible for that lovely image above). We are so excited, heel clicks are flowing like water in our household (more then the water). If Steep Street were a Portland Trail Blazer she would be Clyde Drexler, the best of the best of the best, with the best style (sans the balding and the mustache). Please check out Kelty's work at : http://www.steepstreet.com/ be prepared to oggle for hours. Enjoy!

Penny & The Quarters...For your listening pleasure
Last night we went to a Valentines box decorating party. Our collective box was ok, pink ruffles, disney princesses and all...glue. (nothing you haven't seen before). My favorite part of the party was when the song You and Me by Penny and The Quarters graced my ears. I'm pleased with myself, not even whisky got in the way of me writing the name down. This morning, I woke up, downloaded Penny and the Quarters, and the rest is history. Enjoy.
