Baggo Olympics 2012

1. The day was perfect for the Baggo Olympics, not a cloud in
the sky (fabricated for this story, not a cloud in this picture)
2-4. The contenders were fierce, international teams came from
near and far to partake (By this I mean we changed our team
names to different countries each time we lost... Australia,
France, Japan, Spain, South Africa, and USA were "present.")
5. The Fans were proud (not to mention contemplative).
6. The Power food was a plenty (at times festive).
7. The mascots were animals of the finest patriotic sort (by that
I mean one dog was responsible for representing us all).

Picture This

Two weekends ago Alex and I went to a very sweet wedding in Oceanside, OR. One of my favorite touches of the wedding, was the Polaroid camera available to guests to document at their own free will. My favorite photographers there (who did most of the snapping) were a group of little girls ages 4-6. They were incredibly darling, and had such a keen eye. Their photos were stunning, and were from the brilliant perspective of children (not to mention the height as well). Note the cat above, the grass was as tall as the child, and the sky consumes a great amount of the photo. Same went for photos of guest: shoulders, face, and then all sky.

Rollin' Rollin' Rollin' on the (Willamette) River...(In Tina Turner's voice)

Nothing like a bicycle bbq to make you forget your woes, and remind you that although picturesque, the Willamette river is very polluted. Do note my main squeeze's ride (note to self, the words "main" and "squeeze"  should only remain in my vocabulary separately, like referring to juice, or street names) BBQ front rack, cooler back rack (I'm in love).

It's Summertime (and the living is easy)

Then you wake up one day, and you're like "hey, it's July 18th, where did the time go?"  Grab the summer by the tail people, because it's going by faster then fast.

BlackLake, a Love Story

Megan and Ven's wedding was lovely, just lovely. The two were graced with just enough rain to give their ceremony a little luck to compliment those dashing faces, dapper looks, and plenty of love (not to mention adding a few memorable umbrellas into the equation). A tear of joy here, and a tear of joy there. People came from near and far to share the sentiment of love and admiration for Ven and Megan (and the copious amount of love they have for one another).Say it with me now "congratulations."
