Best Ninety Five Cents Spent Ever... EVER!

Today I became the proud owner of a new (old) McCartney album. It is the best purchase in ages, truly. Can you believe it was only 95 cents? I knew some songs on this album (Maybe I'm Amazed, and Junk), it truly is hit after hit people. It's just post Beatles era, and pre Wings, so you can only imagine the extent of its goodness. As a child who was raised on Beatles records among other fine music choices (thank you family), all I can ask is where has this album been all my life? Above is my favorite new song on the album, and my favorite old song on the album (Junk).

Bedazzled

Oh hello! I had such a crazy old week last week that overlooked bedazzled Tuesday completely (whoopsie daisy). So within that busy week, guess who received the perfect birthday gift ever? If you guessed me, then you are absolutely correct. My older brother sent me a bag (yes a bag) filled with vintage brooches (1. Best brother ever 2. Bedazzled for weeks and weeks). The pear brooch above was one if the many gems. Oh and photo number one is a gal who just got her hair done, and is unsure of the ombré blonde that happened to her head (gulp).

Cattoo

I've officially done it, I've taken the inky plunge into permanent accessories. It was almost one year ago that Alex gave me a gift of a tattoo for my birthday. Whelp folks, my birthday is May 15th, and approaching at a rapid rate (send cards to Hawthorne blvd...kidding kidding).Quite frankly I have had almost one year to ponder this gift. After plenty of thought, and a blog pole, we set out to get our arms upgraded (now I know what you are thinking mothers "there was nothing wrong your arm in the first place"). The top photo, is the look of a woman in pain (I'm being polite because I just met the tattoo artist, but I'm thinking "hubbaba hubbuba HELP ME" that first part was just a bit of gibberish...sometimes you go there when in a state of pain). An-y-ways, after a mere fifteen minutes, I was doting my new cattoo, complete with a precious bow, and party hat (can a girl complain?). Oh and yes I did draw that baby....you want one? Alex got a tattoo too (not to be confused with a tutu). Can you spot it on that handsome arm of his (it's tiny look very very closely)?

Bedazzled

Can you believe this golden dog brooch? It has a golden crown, a bow tie, googly eyes, and a goofy red tongue! Talk about a dream come frickin' true. It's as if someone made me this brooch, and placed it right on the table of brooches at the Eagles Lodge Thursday Flea Market, slapped a fifty cents sign on, and called it a day. Thank you.
