Calling all Cereal Brands...
Dear General Mills, Kellogg's, Post, and other cereal companies (including, but not limited to the people who make b brand cereals such as "Marshmallow Mateys),
Remember the good old days when a child had the satisfaction of rotting their teeth straight from their mouth, while they stuffed their dirty mitts in a box of cereal digging for a free prize? Although I was a child of a cheerios and banana type family, don't think I don't know who Count Chocula, Tony the Tiger, and the Sugar Smacks Frog are. Look cereal brands, I understand a lot of people these days are on a "health food kick" or whatever, but I swear if you bring back the prize in cereal boxes (nothing you have to send for, but a real live prize, like a watch or a compass) people will be back on cereal faster then you can say "I gotta have my pops." Just an epiphany. Thanks.
Sincerely,
Emily PF D-M

(Salt) Shake it Like a Polaroid Picture
Guess What Came in The Mail Today...
Some of you may or may not know, I have been collecting old sheets and tablecloths to use for our wedding (don't worry the dinner tables won't look like beds, or be beds for that matter). Anyways, I commissioned my dear sweet cousin, Raina to stitch those old babies up (the sheets, not children) and turn them into jazzy new napkins. Raina is only eleven years old, with knitting and sewing skills beyond her years. Today, I was greeted with a box full of napkins, and a hand written note. Thank you very much.

Shuggie Otis...For Your Listening Pleasure
Dear Summer, Thank you for arriving...finally (kidding kidding). But seriously, listen to Shuggie Otis, ride your bicycle, dive into some water, have a picnic. Summer is here. Say it with me now "Summer is here" a little louder "SUMMER IS HERE." Thanks. Love, Emily pf D-M
